Brake Repair & Service

If you can't stop, nothing else matters. We don't do "patch jobs" on brakes.

What’s Included

We don’t just throw pads on and call it a day. A brake job at RPM is a complete safety restoration.

Worn Component Replacement

New high-quality brake pads or shoes.

Rotor & Drum Care

We resurface rotors when possible to save you money, or replace them when they’re too thin to be safe.

System Flush

Old brake fluid absorbs water and kills your stopping power. We flush it out for a firm, responsive pedal.

Hardware Inspection

We check calipers, hoses, and master cylinders for leaks or seized parts.

Road Test

Every car is road-tested by Steve or Eli personally to ensure it stops straight and quiet.

The Warning Signs (Don’t Ignore These)

Your car usually tells you there's a problem before it fails. If you’re experiencing any of these, bring it in today—not next week.

The Squeal

That high-pitched noise is a "wear sensor" telling you your pads are almost gone.

The Grind

If it sounds like metal on metal, you’re damaging your rotors every time you touch the pedal.

The Shakes

The Sink

If the pedal feels soft or sinks to the floor, you have a hydraulic leak or air in the lines. This is a "don't drive it" emergency.

Common Brake Questions

How much does it cost?

It depends on what’s actually broken. Some shops quote a low "pad slap" price just to get you in the door, then hit you with a $800 bill. We don't do that. We provide a Digital Vehicle Inspection first. We’ll show you photos of your brakes and give you a straight-up price for what you need, and tell you what can wait.

How long do brakes last?

In Bucks County stop-and-go traffic? Usually 30,000 to 50,000 miles. If you’re a heavy-footed driver or do a lot of towing, it'll be less. We check your pad life at every oil change so you're never surprised.

Do I really need new rotors?

Not always. If they have enough "meat" left and aren't warped, we can resurface them. But if they’re below the safety discard thickness, we won't turn them. It's a safety thing, and we don't budge on that.

We Won't Let You Leave Unsafe.

If your brakes are dangerous, we’re going to tell you. We’ve turned down business from folks who wanted a "cheap fix" on a safety system. At RPM, we do it right.
